Here in Greater Des Moines, it's easy to be a kid. Whether your concept of household fun is a skate park, a smash park, an amusement park, or an actual park, Des Moines is the perfect escape, no matter if you're young or simply young at heart.
Gee, what could be more fun than spring break with the kids? Those beautiful kids getting on the sofa, battling with each other, making a mess all over they go. It's enough to drive a moms and dad wild. So, leave your home. Here's a list of things you can do with the rugrats free of charge, and they're enjoyable, too.
The outdoor park is free to visit every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be a timed egg scramble for kids ages 10 and under, fun art activities, a kids play zone, live student musical, dance performances, a community hike at 10:30 a.m. and more.
